 colors_info="{}"]In order to develop a climate-neutral economy\, LBG (Liqu
efied Biomethane Gas) is seen as a high-potential alternative in the shipp
ing and heavy duty transport sectors. International business community\, t
echnology developers and providers will discuss this topic on 8 March 10:0
0 (EET). \nThe event is organized by the Lithuanian Maritime Cluster\, it
s coordinator Klaipeda Science and Technology Park (Lithuania)\, participa
ting in the Liquid Energy project\, which is financed by the European Regi
onal Development Fund\, and the Shipping &amp\; Offshore Network (Norway).
\nIn addition to reducing emissions\, the circular economy is also impor
tant in assessing the benefits of LBG as LBG solutions help to achieve pos
itive environmental impact. \nLarge-scale applicability of LBG still face
s some challenges that are inseparable from the need for significant inves
tment\, so businesses are cautious about the existing technologies and the
possibilities of integrating them into their processes.\n[/et_pb_text][/e

gest alternatives for achieving the EU’s long-term CO2 reduction targets
today and in the nearest future. The experience already gained and succes
s stories are a major boost for new potential users of this type of fuel.
The shipping and heavy transport sectors are under increasing pressure fro
m tightening regulatory mechanisms aimed at reducing emissions\, so they a
re expected to be at the forefront of these changes. Customers that are in
creasingly focusing on green logistics chains are also dictating certain c
onditions – in addition to speed and reliability\, environmental aspects
are increasingly gaining ground in freight transport. \nThe upcoming web
inar on March 8 will bring together technology developers and representati
ves of different transport sectors already applying these solutions and al
so those interested in such opportunities. We expect businesses from Lithu
ania\, Latvia\, Norway\, Sweden and Poland in our speakers’ line-up and
an even wider geography of participants!\nEvent time: Tuesday\, March 8\,
10:00 (EET).\nFormat: online/ Zoom platform. The link for joining will
be sent for registered participants only.\n&nbsp\;\nTarget audience: repr
esentatives of the shipping\, road and rail freight sectors\; agricultural
  industries. \nREGISTRATION: bit.ly/LBGforGreenTransport \nThe language
of the event: English. We will share the detailed program soon! \nProjec
