Innovative companies from Western Lithuania invited to E-world energy & water 2027 expo

2026-10-20

Klaipeda Science and Technology Park invites innovative small and medium-sized enterprises from Western Lithuania to explore the opportunities offered by the SMEBeyond project and visit E-world energy & water in Essen, Germany, on 16–18 February 2027. E-world energy & water is one of the key meeting points for the European energy industry, bringing together companies and professionals working in energy services, IT, energy storage, efficiency, grids, mobility and other technologies shaping the future of the energy sector. In 2026, almost 99% of visitors were industry professionals, with establishing and maintaining business contacts among the key reasons for attending.

The SMEBeyond team and participating companies already visited E-world in 2026. The visit resulted in new contacts in areas including energy storage, smart industrial solutions, microgrids and other energy technologies, demonstrating how a well-chosen international trade fair can become a practical step towards finding technology partners and new business opportunities.

Who can apply?
We invite companies that:
– qualify as SMEs, with fewer than 250 employees;
– are legal entities operating in Western Lithuania;
– develop or implement innovative products, technologies or services;
– are looking for technology or business partners, potential clients, solutions to improve their processes or opportunities for international expansion.
Under the SMEBeyond project, eligible costs related to participation in international trade fairs may be reimbursed for qualifying companies.

Before choosing a trade fair, we encourage companies to start with a different question: what do you want to achieve there? This could mean finding a technology partner for product development, identifying a solution to improve a business or production process, meeting potential clients and partners, or exploring a new market.

If another international trade fair is more relevant to your business, get in touch – under the SMEBeyond project, participation in other events relevant to your company can also be considered.

If your startup is still preparing for growth and an international trade fair would be too early a step, keep an eye on KSTP opportunities – new pre-acceleration and incubation programmes for startups and early-stage teams will be launched soon.
